The Top 5 MLB Players Of All Time!

Daniel Kennedy

BY NICHOLAS BROWN

5. Barry Bonds

Giants fans don’t get mad at me. You know that Barry Bonds used steroids right? I mean just look at his number, 73 homers in one season and 762 career homers. And we all know that he did use steroids. That is the only reason why he isn’t 2 or 3 on this list. Besides the fact he is a top 5 player in history. He leads the MLB in home runs and home runs in a season a 296. Batting average and 6th in RBIs with 1996. He also leads history in intentional base on balls.

4. Willie Mays

Now your happy Giants fans! Another former giant willie mays. This time he didn’t do steroids. Willie Mays is 6th in home runs with 660. And a whopping 302. Batting average for his career. 1903 rbi in 12th place. With 2 MVP awards 24 time all star and he also was a 4 time league leader in home runs, and 12 time Gold Globe winner. If you don’t think that willie Mays is a top 5 player in history then you are out of your mind. Probably the second best all around player of all time behind one of the guys coming up on this list.

3. Hank Aaron

Hank Aaron is amazing,, 8 home runs shy of Barry Bonds all time record and he didn’t even take steroids. 755 career home runs (2nd). 2297 career rbi (1st) and a .305 batting average. He also was a 25 time all star and he won 2 gold glove awards and was inducted into the hall of fame in 1982. He also was a RBI leader in 4 seasons. Hank Aaron is one of the best hitters of all time and the best braves player of all time by far and he is the 3rd best player of all time.

2. Mike Trout

A lot of you guys will be questioning this, but yes it is Mike Trout at number 2. The best player in the MLB for the last 5 years. He is a great all around player he hits for contact and average but at the same time he has hit 44 home runs so far this season, with 2 weeks left. He has a chance to hit 50. Keep in mind when I share you his stats he is only 27 and has only played 6 full seasons and then this one. 305 career average. 284 home runs, 750 rbi and 1322 career hits. He is also the best all around player. Just look up his fielding highlights. He can steal bases, 200 in his career. And he can hit, a great all around player. Best player of the 2000s and the second best player of all time.

Babe Ruth.

Babe Ruth has to be the best player ever. Very soon Mike Trout could be number 1 but when you look at Babe Ruth’s stats is clear to see, 714 career home runs , an astonishing 342 batting average, 2214 career RBIs and an ops of 1.164. He also was a pitcher, he was terrific at pitching. I mean it is one thing to hit 700 home runs and have 2000 rbi but it is another thing to be good at pitching too. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any of his pitching stats but when it is Babe Ruth you would think he would be good.
