This has been an exciting offseason for American sports. A lot of athletes switched addresses in both the NFL, and NBA. Be looking out for the NBA version of this later.
The first team on our radar is the Cleveland Browns. In my opinion,They had one of the best offseasons in NFL history. With Odell Beckham Jr being traded for some overvalued assests, this trade is definitely one for Browns fans to be excited about. and with David Njoku blossoming from a star to a superstar along with Baker Mayfeild, it looks like they have a very bright future ahead of them. I only have one problem with their offseason. In their trade for Odell Beckham, they also acquired Oliver Vernon. I have no problem with him, but between him and Odell, they are taking up almost $40 Million in cap, making it very hard to do any in-season transactions, so dont be suprised if they trade their decent LOLB for a few picks just to clear that money.
I'm not going to lie, i took 2 weeks off after i finished this paragraph, and the next team on my list was going to be the Indianapolis Colts. BUt, after the abrupt retirement of veteran signal caller, Andrew Luck, i'm not so sure anymore.
The next team on my radar are the Pittsburgh Steelers. I know, a lot of AFC teams. A somewhat exciting offseason, and I know many people are going to say “well, they lost Antonio Brown and Le’veon Bell, so how does that make them a successful offseason? Well, this means that they don’t have to focus on dealing with some, in some’s opinion, two straight up dingbats. They also drafted well this year, picking up 2 players with sky high potential, those being the 10th overall pick, Devin Bush, and the 4th rounder Benny Snell Jr.
