NBA teams to watch in 2019-2020

Daniel Kennedy

This has been the biggest offseason in NBA history by far, with around 40% of the league being free agents, and with most of them switching teams, including stars like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Jimmy Butler.

Starting off with the team who had the best offseason, it will be the Brooklyn Nets. They managed to pick up BOTH of the top 2 free agents, and sign a few role players to fill out the roster. This team easily has a chance to go 65-17 with two superstars.

This next team had the best offseason didn't even sign any big name free agents, and lost more than they signed. This team is the Los Angeles Lakers. They only really signed Demarcus Cousins and Danny Green, but more importantly, they traded for Anthony Davis. This starting lineup is going to be insane.

PG: Point Bron (LeBron James)

SG: Danny Green

SF: Kyle Kuzma

PF: Anthony Davis

C: Demarcus Cousins

To put that into perspective, if this team played to their 2018 stats, the starting lineup alone would average 105.3 PPG.

The 3rd best offseason, in the same stadium as the Lakers, neck and neck for the number two spot, the LA Clippers. With this team signing both Kawhi Leonard, and Paul George, this team is no doubt a superteam. With 2 6th man of the year canadites in Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, his team has lots of potential now, and in the future.

And the final team today is the Huston Rockets. The Rockets had a good team in the first place, finishing as the 4 seed in the western conference, but when you re-unite Russell Westbrook with James Harden, things can change real quickly.
