MLB: What Teams Will go all the Way?

Daniel Kennedy

WRITTEN BY NICHOLAS BROWN

We’ve seen many teams in the past with very high skill level all around. Nowadays you see teams with that one star player that is the only reason why they are in playoff contention. 8 teams will battle for the ultimate prize at the end of the season that one prize is nothing other than the World Series ring.

The first team up are the Dodgers. The Dodgers have the best talent in the league with all around stars. There pitching staff is amazing but even if their pitching staff was horrible then their offense would still win alll the games. On the offensive side you have Cody Berlinger, Max Muncy, Joc Peterson, Justin Turner. Then on the pitching side you have Hyun-Jyn-Ryu

With a sub 2 era, and of course Clayton Kershaw, and the youngster Walker Buehler. This Los Angeles Dodgers Ball club truly has no wholes in the lineup or pitching staff. They are one of the best teams in the mlb and expect them to be in the World Series talks for this season.

The astros are another one of the super teams in the mlb for 2019. They have superstars all around the field for example, Alex Bergman, Jose Altuve, George Springer and Michael Brantley. Those are just position players. They have a stacked rotation. Justin Verlander, Gerrit Cole and Zack Grienke. With sluggers like Bergman, Springer and Alvarez. With Hall of fame pitchers Justin Verlander and Zack Grienke this team has it all. The MlB has not seen many teams this scary.

The Yankees are stacked offensively and when we look at the numbers it is clear. Their main struggle has been the starting pitchers this year. With Luis Severino down with an injury losing their ace was not what they wanted but James Paxton has stepped up to be their true ace. The hitting is deadly. With Gary Sanchez, Aaron Judge, D.J Lemahuei and Gio Urshela their offense is completely set as one of their clearest strengths. Another one of their strengths is their bullpen. With people like Aroldis Chapman who once through 106 miles per hour is one of the best closers in the MLB. Then they have Adam Ottovino and Zack Britton who have shown to be great arms out of the bullpen when the Yankees need it. Expect the Yankees to be in World Series contention for the next 5 to 10 years with this young deadly squad.

Great reporting guys! I have to throw my opinion in there for Nick's MLB article. I think the Braves should get some mention. They did take the last series against the Dodgers. There bats are hot. We'll rounded team.

Can't wait for the next round of articles.
